JMS Students Giving Back

Unnamed (2)Another Great Example of  USDB Students Giving Back to their Community…
The Kindness Club students from Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind recently hosted a winter drive to collect coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and other items for the homeless. These students attend the Jean Massieu School of the Deaf on the USDB Salt Lake campus. Their teacher Jasmine Taylor reported, “We collected and donated approximately 13 big boxes of coats, hats, gloves, etc to the Road Home. We are very grateful for the help from our school staff and families!” USDB students help their communities in many ways year round, from pouring hot chocolate in Ogden at the annual Christmas Village event, to making toys and dolls for children at Primary Children’s Hospital. This fall they also collected food for animal shelters.
